Sample data shown for illustration. Your workbook is built from your own information and updated by you. It isn't connected to your bank account.

Your plan, built with you over 2–3 weeks.

We don't just hand you a spreadsheet. We review your finances together over three meetings, build the plan around your situation, and make sure you understand how to use it.

After your free consultation, if you'd like to move forward, you'll sign a simple service agreement, pay your invoice, and use a secure upload link to send your questionnaire and requested financial documents.

1

Preliminary review

2–3 business days

Once your questionnaire and documents are in, I review your income, spending, debt, and cash flow and prepare the areas we need to talk through.

2

Financial Discovery meeting

30–45 minutes

We talk through what I found, fill in any missing context, and make sure the plan reflects what actually matters to you.

3

Financial Clarity meeting

60–75 minutes

I build your personalized Google Sheets workbook from what we've covered, then we walk through it together — your Dashboard, spending, monthly plan, debt, cash flow, how to use it day to day, and the changes worth considering.

4

Time to review

5–7 days

With your workbook in hand, you get time to sit with everything, use the workbook, think through your options, and note anything you want to revisit before we finalize your plan.

5

Final Make Change meeting

30–45 minutes

We answer your remaining questions, make reasonable adjustments, and confirm the priorities and next steps you want reflected in your personalized 90-Day Action Plan.

Typically 2–3 weeks from document submission to your finished plan.
Your timeline begins once your completed questionnaire and requested financial documents have been received. Timing may vary based on meeting availability.
You leave with your workbook + 90-Day Action Plan.

Your numbers organized in one place, plus a clear PDF roadmap with specific steps you can check off as you make progress.

Keep the plan moving.

Your financial life won't stay exactly the same after your plan is finished. Check-Ins are optional follow-up sessions for when something changes, like a new paycheck, an unexpected bill, or a big purchase you're weighing, or when you want help adjusting your plan.

During a check-in, we can:

  • Compare what you planned with what actually happened in your workbook
  • Review upcoming bills, paychecks, expenses, or financial changes
  • Adjust your week-to-week cash-flow plan when needed
  • Talk through questions or financial decisions that have come up
  • Set your priorities for what to focus on next
The goal isn't to make you dependent on check-ins. Your plan is built for you to use on your own — these sessions are simply here when you want additional support.

The plan is for the life you're building next.

Sometimes life changes faster than your finances can keep up. A new household, different bills, debt, or simply realizing your old system isn't working anymore can leave you unsure where to begin. Make Change helps you sort through what's changed and build a plan you can actually use.

Raul Sanjay, founder of Make Change

Hi, I'm Raul.

Make Change really started with me trying to make sense of money in my own life.

I had studied finance, but managing money in real life was different. There were bills to plan around, debt to work through, student loans, savings goals, and the constant question of what we could actually afford without putting ourselves in a worse position.

At the same time, I had seen what money could look like when life changed unexpectedly. When my mom went through a divorce, I watched her have to adjust to an entirely different financial reality. I found myself helping her get organized and make sense of what she was facing.

Those experiences taught me something that eventually became the idea behind Make Change: before you can make good financial decisions, you need to be able to see the full picture.

That's what I started doing in my own life. I built ways to organize our spending, understand our debt, plan around our paychecks, and look ahead instead of constantly reacting. And I realized the same process could help other people who were staring at their finances wondering, “Where do I even start?” That's why I created Make Change.

Common questions

What financial documents will I need to provide?

I'll typically review recent checking and savings statements, credit card statements, loan information, pay stubs, and details about major upcoming expenses or financial changes. You'll also complete a questionnaire, and you'll receive a clear list of what to provide before we begin.

How do I send my documents, and how are they handled?

Once you've signed the agreement and paid, I'll send you a secure upload link. You upload the documents I've asked for, and I use them to prepare your plan. They aren't shared publicly, and because Make Change doesn't connect to your bank accounts, you decide what to send. You can read more about how information and source documents are handled in the Privacy Policy.

Does Make Change connect to my bank accounts?

No. Make Change doesn't connect to your bank accounts, and neither does your workbook. You provide the information and documents needed to build your plan, and I organize them into your personalized Google Sheets workbook. It isn't banking software, so it doesn't pull in transactions on its own.

Do you ever handle my money or make payments for me?

No. You always remain in control of your accounts and money. Make Change does not hold client funds, access your accounts, or make financial transactions on your behalf.

Will you contact my creditors or lenders for me?

No. Make Change does not contact creditors, negotiate balances or interest rates, settle debts, or make payments on your behalf. I help you understand and organize your debts so you can make more informed decisions about them.

Is this investment, tax, or legal advice?

Make Change is about financial wellness: budgeting, cash flow, and organizing your debt so you can make informed decisions. I don't provide investment, tax, or legal advice. If a decision needs that kind of guidance, a licensed professional is the right person to ask.

How do the meetings work?

Meetings are held online through Google Meet. The Financial Clarity Plan includes the Financial Discovery meeting, the Financial Clarity meeting, and the Final Make Change meeting. You'll receive a meeting link for each session.

How long does the Financial Clarity Plan take?

The full process typically takes about 2–3 weeks from the time your completed questionnaire and requested documents are received. Timing can vary slightly depending on meeting availability.

What happens after my plan is finished?

You leave with your workbook and 90-Day Action Plan, designed to keep using on your own. If you want extra support later, optional Check-Ins are available to Financial Clarity Plan clients, with no subscription or recurring meetings. They're useful for reviewing what's changed, updating your cash-flow plan, or working through a decision.
